The Lord is my Shepherd.
That's a relationship.

I shall not want.
That's supply.

He maketh me lie down in green pastures.
That's rest.

He leadeth me beside the still waters.
That's refreshment.

He restoreth my soul.
That's healing.

He leadeth me in the path of righteousness.
That's guidance.

For His name's sake.
That's purpose.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
That's testing.

I will fear no evil.
That's protection.

For Thou art with me.
That's faithfulness.

Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.
That's discipline.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.
That's hope.

Thou anointest my head with oil.
That's consecration.

My cup runneth over.
That's abundance.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
That's a blessing.

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord.
That's security.

Forever.
That's eternity.

Face it. God loves you!

What’s most valuable is not what we have in our lives, but who we have in our lives.

The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but building the new.

"The Path of Light"

(a therapeutic affirmation poem I wrote to share with you)

I breathe in peace,
and exhale all fear—
wrapped in serenity,
I find myself clear.

I welcome healing,
let it flow through my soul—
like restorative waters,
it makes my heart whole.

In the arms of comfort,
I gently rest—
held by solace,
I know I am blessed.

With every sunrise,
I reach for hope—
optimism lifts me,
and helps me to cope.

I walk in love,
pure and true—
with compassion and warmth,
in all that I do.

I offer forgiveness,
to myself and others—
letting go,
my spirit recovers.

I rise in strength,
like mountains in grace—
with resilience and courage,
I hold my place.

I move with balance,
steady and free—
finding harmony
in just being me.

With clarity,
I see my way—
guided by insight,
come what may.

Each day brings growth,
a new unfolding—
through every season,
my soul keeps holding.

The Lord’s Prayer

(Matthew 6:9–13, KJV)

Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil:

For Thine is the kingdom,
And the power, and the glory, forever.

Amen.
